Technical Bulletin 1: If you ever suspect a box issue Do Not take it to an Auto Parts Store to test, They CAN NOT test this unit no matter what they tell you, they will probably damage the internal computer components. The Extremely High Quality Micro Processor chips are manufactured here in the NW and only they can burn test them after the box has been destroyed and the chips removed. Please do not try and test this Level 5 electronics product with old conventional test equipment, it is NOT a conventional ECU there are no transistors to test. Technical Bulletin 2: The burn program in the Micro-processor is proprietary programming and can not be altered do not attempt to tamper with the programming it CAN NOT be done externally. There is no possible gains that could be made by altering the program anyhow, if there was we would have already done it.
Technical Bulletin 3: Do not install with the key in the run position, turn off the ignition before plugging in the box. Inadvertently touching full power to the wrong pin will damage the box. Simply turn the key to the OFF position to avoid any possible damage. Technical Bulletin 4: The 6 cylinder and 8 cylinder boxes are not interchangeable, the rev limiter has different programing.
